What's available right now?+
MVHR commissioning is available now, measured with a Testo capture hood. Blower door / pressure testing is coming online shortly with a Minneapolis Blower Door and DG-1000. Unofficial leak and diagnostic testing is available by arrangement in the meantime — ask and we'll confirm what we can book you in for.
Testo hood vs blower door — what's the difference?+
They do different jobs. A Testo capture hood measures airflow at individual MVHR terminals, so it's used to commission and balance ventilation systems. A blower door depressurises the whole house and measures overall airtightness. One doesn't substitute for the other — we run the right test for the question you're asking.
Do you travel outside the Gold Coast?+
Our home patch is the Gold Coast / South East Queensland. We travel Australia-wide by arrangement — travel and mobilisation are quoted per job, so confirm it in your quote.
What's in the report?+
A site-ready report: the measured numbers, what they mean for your build, where leakage or underperformance showed up, and practical fixes. Written in plain language your site team can act on — no waffle.
Is this legal certification?+
No. Our testing and reports are practical diagnostics and commissioning records — they are not legal certification. If your project needs official Passivhaus marketing claims or formal certification, that only applies when the relevant credentials are verified — ask us directly and we'll be straight with you about what we can and can't sign off.
